What Does “Hands That Shed Innocent Blood” REALLY Mean and How Deep Does It Go?
For years, I’ve always assumed “hands that shed innocent blood” just pertained to the murder of a person who had done nothing wrong. But last week, I decided to ask Jesus for His definition.
What does God mean when He said He hates the hands that she’d innocent blood in Proverbs 6:16-17? Does everyone play a part in it one way or another? What is the answer particularly linked to? The answer runs deeper than you may think.
Watch for God’s answer:
Proverbs 6:16, the word used for “abomination” is toebah. This word has also been translated as “detestable”, “disgusting”, an “abhorrence”, and “idolatry”. Yet, people want to try and depict the Lord as being accepting and neutral about our Sin?
Powerful and true, Jennifer. May this message penetrate the hearts of readers.
I can testify to what you’re saying. It is ALL murder.
Sad, but true.
